Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using www.chillhousesoho.com (the "Site") or visiting Chillhouse Soho (the "Studio") located at 75 Varick Street, New York, NY 10013. These Terms are operated by Chillhouse LLC ("Chillhouse," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing the Site or booking, purchasing, or receiving any services or products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Site or the services offered without our express written permission.

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the Site following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

BOOKING AND APPOINTMENTS

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking. Your card will not be charged until after your service; however, it is kept on file in the event of a no-show or late cancellation. By booking an appointment at Chillhouse Soho, you are agreeing to all of our salon and spa policies and to full payment for services received or not received.

We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance for weekend and peak times, as we tend to book up quickly. You may book up to 3 months in advance. If you prefer a specific service provider or have a gender preference for your therapist, please let us know when you book your appointment.

For group bookings of up to 6 people, you may book online, via email, or by calling the Studio. Groups larger than 6 are considered a Small Party and may be subject to different pricing. For more information, please email supsoho@chillhouse.com.

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY

We operate a strict 12-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. This policy exists to ensure our staff — including nail artists, massage therapists, and estheticians — receive a full day's wage. We appreciate your understanding and support.

  • Cancellations made more than 12 hours before your appointment: No charge. You may cancel or adjust your time slot through the Site, or by calling or emailing the Studio.

  • Cancellations made within 12 hours of your appointment: A 50% cancellation fee will be charged for each service booked.

  • Rescheduling within 12 hours of your appointment: A 20% rescheduling fee will be charged for each service booked.

  • No-shows: A 100% no-show fee will be charged for each service booked.

This policy applies equally to gift card holders and Club Chill members. Members may use their Chill Bills and benefits toward applicable fees.

LATE ARRIVALS

All appointments have been designed to allow the appropriate time for the full enjoyment of the service. Late arrivals may limit our ability to offer the fullest experience possible. Please understand that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled services, and there is a possibility of the service being shortened. An un-rushed service will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled session. You will be responsible for payment of the full original service booked.

PAYMENT

Chillhouse Soho is a cashless establishment. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and contactless payment methods. We do not accept cash, personal checks, or gift cards not issued by Chillhouse.

Service rates do not include gratuity. A gratuity of 20% or more is both appropriate and appreciated. You may tip via credit card or Venmo. If you wish to Venmo your service provider, please ask a Chill Host for details.

All descriptions of services or service pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion.

CLUB CHILL MEMBERSHIP

Club Chill is our membership program, offering regular self-care at discounted rates. By enrolling, you agree to the following:

  • Commitment Period: Membership begins with a 3-month minimum commitment. If you cancel during this period, you are still responsible for the full 3 months of membership fees.

  • Billing: Your card is automatically billed each month on the recurring date of your sign-up.

  • After the Commitment Period: Membership continues month-to-month and may be cancelled at any time with 30 days' notice by emailing membership@chillhouse.com.

  • Unused Benefits: Chill Bills and service credits roll over from month to month and do not expire while your membership is active. Upon cancellation, all accumulated benefits or Chill Bills expire 30 days after the cancellation date. Member discounts do not apply after cancellation.

  • Freezing: You may freeze your account for up to 2 months, once per calendar year, by emailing membership@chillhouse.com.

  • Transferability: You may bring a friend and use your credits, or gift your monthly unused credits to anyone who has not previously visited Chillhouse.

Membership terms, pricing, and benefits are subject to change. We will notify members of any material changes in advance where reasonably possible.

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards are available for purchase on the Site and in-Studio. Please note:

  • Gift cards are final sale and non-refundable.

  • Both digital and physical gift cards may be redeemed in-Studio for products and services.

  • A valid credit card is still required on file to book an appointment, even when paying by gift card. The gift card will be applied at checkout after your service.

  • Gift cards purchased on the Chillhouse e-commerce store (shop) cannot be redeemed in-Studio, and vice versa.

HEALTH, SAFETY, AND LIABILITY

By booking an appointment or receiving any service at Chillhouse Soho, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • You will be emailed a digital intake form prior to your appointment. This allows your service provider to prepare for your session. Intake forms must be completed prior to your arrival.

  • You are responsible for informing your service provider of any allergies, medical conditions, skin sensitivities, injuries, or medications that may affect your treatment.

  • Chillhouse Soho is not liable for any adverse reactions, injury, or health conditions arising from services received, provided that services were performed in accordance with standard industry practice.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine, at our sole discretion, that providing a service may pose a health or safety risk to you or our staff.

  • Animals are not permitted in the Studio, with the exception of certified service animals as required by law.

INFRARED SAUNA (HEAT) SERVICES

Our private infrared sauna sessions are subject to additional health considerations:

  • Infrared saunas are not recommended for guests under the age of 18.

  • Infrared saunas are not recommended for guests with certain medical conditions, including but not limited to: pregnancy, cardiovascular conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or those taking medications affected by heat exposure.

  • If you are unsure whether an infrared sauna session is appropriate for you, please consult your physician prior to booking.

  • By booking a HEAT session, you acknowledge that you have reviewed these contraindications and accept any risks associated with the use of an infrared sauna.

SPA AND MASSAGE SERVICES

Certain spa treatments may have specific contraindications. For example, the Chill Flow massage is not recommended for guests with visible varicose veins and excessive bruising on the legs, pregnancy, diabetes, or untreated high blood pressure. Your service provider will discuss any relevant contraindications with you prior to treatment. Please disclose all relevant health information when completing your intake form.

CHILL CAFÉ

The Chill Café operates within the Studio and is subject to these Terms. Please note:

  • Café menu items, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice.

  • Please inform staff of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before ordering.

  • Chillhouse is not liable for allergic reactions where the guest has failed to disclose known allergies.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, photography, nail art designs, product names (including Chill Tips, Chill Bills, Club Chill, Muscle Muse, and Under The Sea), and the "BE YOURSELF, FIND YOUR CHILL" trademark — is the property of Chillhouse LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.

You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written consent.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Site may contain links to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site before engaging with it.

USER CONDUCT

When visiting the Site or Studio, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

  • Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Site.

  • Behave in a manner that is disruptive, abusive, or threatening to staff or other guests while in the Studio. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service in such circumstances without refund.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chillhouse LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your booking or receipt of any services, or your purchase of any products, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chillhouse LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site or services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, services, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
